God so loved the world

Saturday August 20, John 3: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. It’s the only thing love can do. Jesus came, not so some could find the right way and ascend to the glory of heaven, but so that all could be saved. In the temptation of Christ after his baptism, Jesus could have fixed things for us. He perhaps could have negotiated with the devil to arrange for an easy life for all of us, happiness all around, but he did not. We could all be mindlessly happy all the time, but we are not. There is even the possibility that there would be no wars, but there are. The tradeoff would have been your soul. The tradeoff for not being able to hate is not being able to love. The tradeoff for not making life a living hell sometimes is not having heaven without the restraint of time. Jesus made the only choice love could make. Thank You Jesus!!!
