Blessed be the real hungry

Tuesday August 23rd, Matthew 5: 6 You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God. He's food and drink in the best meal you'll ever eat. If you have ever tried dieting, you know that there is that point in which no one is safe reaching in front of you. You are ready to eat someone’s arm off and you don’t care whose. Imagine longing for God in that way, imagine longing for a close relationship with God and nothing else will do. Imagine the satisfaction of a good meal when you are really hungry. God longs for your love in that way, you might want to try to return the favor and see what life is like then.
