Holy Surprises

Wednesday November 9th, 1st John 3: 2Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. With our kids we often play the game of “what do you want to be when you grow up?” Perhaps we should rephrase that a bit to say “What plan do you think God has for you when you grow up?” What plan do you think God had for you? From where you are at now, what plan do you think God has for you? How have you been called to go about “being” a child of God? What we will be has not yet been made known. It is kind of exciting when you thing about it. Every time we think we have turned “the” corner we find God has something even better around the next corner. Life is full of surprises and when you ride with God at your side, they become holy surprises. They become the things of saints.
