Oops!! they did it again

Wednesday November 15th, Mark 12: 38 As he taught, Jesus said, "Watch out for the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted in the marketplaces, 39 and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. We have seen the recent fall of yet another modern TV Pharisee. All too often, those who hold the law up the highest, are found to only be hiding behind it. We are called instead to live generously and humbly. We are called to receive with joy all that the Lord has provided for us and for our lives. When our lives are blessed, we are called to recognize that it is so we may be a blessing. Having an abundance in your life is a blessing only when you are therefore a blessing to others. Otherwise it becomes a curse.
