Amid the multitude
following the Christ
Singing praise to the Messiah of Israel
Singing praise to the Messiah of the world
sat
one
--lone
----blind
------man
helpless
among this moving throng of history
insignificant
among the sweep of time
and the many great people
who have graced the paths of this world
insignificant
except that
he believed
and the Song of God
stopped the whole world
long enough
to help
