let it seep

Tuesday February 12^th, 2 Corinthians 4:  1 Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.  It is easy to lose heart, to get discouraged.  It often is the result of trying to do it all ourselves instead of working with and through God.  There have been times when I finish presenting a sermon and think, well, I sure blew that one, it was awful.  Then at the door I will be met by someone with tears in their eyes and they are telling me how much they needed to hear what I said.  It is then that I smile and remember that if it is not God’s ministry, it is not ministry at all, it’s just tooting my own horn.  Be a clay vessel today and let Gods work fill you through and through, and then let it seep out into the world as a gift.
