Bomb them with food
Wednesday August 31st, Romans 12: 20 On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Paul gives us a “how to” on how to live as a child of God in this world where not everyone is our friend. And even when we think we have some hope to be buttheads with the heaping coals line, we are called to understand that that was the normal way of carrying the hot coals one needed to get a fire going to cook a meal for friends or family, it was not a revenge statement at all, it is a statement of helping the enemy to provide for their needs. I wonder if Romans 12 will make it in any of the political speeches from either pulpit or politico? Bomb them with food and watch the war end. Naaaaaaaaaaaah, no money in it.
