Opening Litany based on Psalm 92

Worship Leader: It is good to give thanks to the Lord and sing praises to the name of the Most High; to declare the steadfast love of God in the morning, and faithfulness by night

Congregation: We will come before You O Lord with music and song and with singing and rejoicing, for you O Lord have made me glad with all you have done for your creation. 

Worship Leader: The righteous shall flourish like the palm trees and grow like the cedars in Lebanon. 

Congregation: I will sing for joy at the works of the Lords hands.

Worship Leader: The children of God are planted in the house of the Lord and flourish in the courts of our God. 

Congregation: I will sing for joy at the works of the Lords hands.

Worship Leader: Even in our old age, through your grace we can still produce fruit; by the gift of the spirit we are like a tree that is always green and full of sap showing that the Lord is just.

Congregation: I will sing for joy at the works of the Lords hands.

Worship Leader: The Lord is my rock on whom I stand, the source of pure joy and righteousness.

Congregation: I will sing for joy at the works of the Lords hands.
