the big “G.”
Wednesday
October 19th, 1 Thessalonians 1: 9 Everyone is talking
about how you welcomed us and how you turned away from idols to serve the true
and living God. Most
of us want our idols and our gods (small “g”) in this world. The only trouble is that if we have our
idols, all we have is our gods, not our God.
God is about changed lives, gods (small “g”) are about small lives that
remain unchanged and a world that remains unchanged around them. So welcome others and in doing so, help them
and you turn away from idols and little “g’s” into the changed lives of the big
“G.”
