right and just

Wednesday September 24th, Matthew 20:  1 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire men to work in his vineyard. 2 He agreed to pay them a denarius for the day and sent them into his vineyard.  3 "About the third hour he went out and saw others standing in the marketplace doing nothing. 4 He told them, 'You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.' 5 So they went. First notice that the landowner doesn’t wait for others to come to him, the Landowner goes to the people and seeks them out.  Secondly, the wages were enough, not too much.  It was not a matter of grabbing the golden ring, it was simply what it took to get by for that day.  The real gift was purpose in life rather than standing around doing nothing.  What was offered was what the world as was right and just.  But just in our eyes and just in God’s eyes can sometimes be miles apart.  I wonder why is there no political conversation about that?
