destiny

Wednesday January 8^th, Ephesians 1: ¹¹ In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, ¹² in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.  We are predestined not because we are holy and mighty, not because we are righteous and in good standing before our Lord.  We are predestined because that is who God is, and how God does in this world.  We are predestined because God loves us and wants us to love one another.  We are predestined not by merit but by grace.  We therefore are called to love one another with that same grace… it is after all our pre-determined destiny.
