we
Thursday
November 21st, 2 Thessalonians 3: 11 We hear that some among you are
idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. 12 Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to
settle down and earn the bread they eat. 13 And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right. And for those who know what is the right
thing to do, never tire of doing it.
Good advice. Life is about your
journey, and doing your journey right.
Being a busybody is about someone else’s journey and your obsession with
it. God calls us into an attitude of us
and our journey together as brothers and sisters in the family of God. The world often pushes us toward an attitude
of Me, where others are not brothers but simply a means to get to where we want
to go. What is your tendency in life, to
look at what is best for the me, or what is best for the we? If it is the “we,” then the next question is
simply how big is your concept of we?
