Monday November 25^th, Jeremiah 23: 5 “For the time is coming,” says the Lord, “when I will raise up a righteous descendant from King David’s line. He will be a King who rules with wisdom. He will do what is just and right throughout the land. 6 And this will be his name: ‘The Lord Is Our Righteousness.’ In that day Judah will be saved, and Israel will live in safety.  You cannot easily kill an olive tree.  If you chop it down, it won’t be long before a shoot will come up out of the dead looking trunk.  In our lives too, even when things seem to have hit bottom, a new shoot of life, a gift of God, can come forth.  God sees in our lives and in our souls that spark of life that comes from the dawn of creation and is called good.  Each and every life, no matter how much it may appear to be just like an old dead stump, can bring forth wonderful life and an abundance of fruit.  Help us to see one another through the eyes of the creator who calls all creation good.
