Thursday April 18^th, Revelation 5: 13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing:   "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" If indeed every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth and on the sea are singing glory to God in heaven, what does that say about how we should treat these creatures here on earth?  Sometimes we start to think that God is for me, not we.  Sometimes we forget the vastness of God’s love for all of creation.  The exploitation, the pollution, the destruction and deforestation for a buck come with a high price tag indeed.  That which you do on the least of these, you do onto me takes on a whole new meaning when we start to think about the vastness of “the least of these.”
