MD 20/20

Saturday January 26^th, John 2: They did so, 9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now." This world sees limits, whereas God’s world view sees ever expanding vistas of opportunity.  The world view is “There is only so much to go around so get them drunk first and they won’t notice you have switched to MD 20/20.”  This type of outlook doesn't cut it in God’s world.  When you call in and upon the Spirit, your life just keeps getting better and better all the time.  When Jesus turned the water into wine perhaps it was his way of saying that life is a celebration not only of what is, but of what can become.  Be part of the expanding vista of hope in your community allow your life to be changed from the ordinary to the sacramental life that brings joy to all people.
