Friday October 28th, Matthew 22: 36"Teacher, what is the most important commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. 38This is the first and most important commandment. A very Rabbinical answer. Also a very correct answer. Everything in life starts with loving God with our heart, with our soul and with our mind. Everything starts with loving god with our hearts, feeling the love, longing for time with Jesus the way we long to spend time with a loved one. Everything starts with loving God with our soul, our very being wrapped around the love of God and dancing through life with the music of grace in our ears. Everything starts with loving God with our minds, our thoughts and our intellect, understanding the complexities of this world through the love of God. It all starts with loving God because God first loved us.
