Saturday October 29th, Matthew 22: 39The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, "Love others as much as you love yourself." 40All the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets are based on these two commandments. The other half of the first and greatest commandment is to love others as ourselves. To love God is to love others and to love others is to show your love for God. All the rules, all the hot button issues hinge on this one dual commandment. Think of how the political issues fit into loving God and loving others.
