King of the Jews

Friday November 25th, Luke 23: 38There was a written notice above him, which read: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS. Jesus was also known as King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Prince of Peace, Son of God, all titles attributed to Caesar whose power Pilot represented. The title “King of the Jews” was almost a way of shrugging off the idea that it was Jesus and not Caesar or Herod or Pilot who was the true Ruler of the world. Little did they know that Jesus was all that and more, ruler of the world, and even ruler of their lives. The question is, is Jesus the king of your life? Well, maybe that is not the question, but rather the answer. The question is, do you know it?
