clothe yourselves with compassion
Tuesday December 29th, Colossians 3: 12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. As we move into a New Year and a new decade, let us, as the children of God, try to live by this simple phrase. Clothe yourselves with compassion for those in need, kindness to others, humility in how you see yourself and gentleness and patience in your dealing with one another. Be forgiving always as God has forgiven you, for the lack of such virtues is the source of war and killing. Concern yourself less with what the other has done wrong and more with what you can do better and surround everything in life with love.
