Wednesday February 18th 1 Corinthians 9: 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last for ever. Being a Christian is more than just hanging out. Being a Christian is more than just some crown at the end. Being a Christian is wearing and sharing the crown of God’s Grace each and every day of your life. At Christ Our Savior Lutheran we state that we are inspired by God’s love to Gather to Grow through God’s Grace. That growing takes place in community. Solo Christianity is simply watching from the sidelines. That growing in God’s Grace is the result of some input and effort on your part as well as input and interaction with others. Which Bible study or small group are you a part of today? Which one is God calling you to start and lead? Who are those watching from the sidelines that are just waiting to be invited for a good run?
