Time? aUI?
Wednesday November 12th, 1 Thessalonians 4: 15-18 And then this: We can tell you with complete confidence—we have the Master's word on it—that when the Master comes again to get us, those of us who are still alive will not get a jump on the dead and leave them behind. In actual fact, they'll be ahead of us. How far ahead of us? Where? We often get hung up on time, sometimes even trying to explain eternity to children or others. Heaven for all eternity?!! What does that mean? For us humans, in our limited dimensions of existence, we have a tough time thinking outside of time. Perhaps eternity is not the elongation of time (A in the language of aUI) but perhaps the absence of time. (anyone else remember Dr. John Weilgart?)
