It's the vision thing
Monday November 3rd, Revelation 7: 16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat.17 For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." This is a part of the final vision that gives us a glimpse of what a God centered world would look like. After all our wheeling’s and dealings over the ages, I think we have ask the question, how are we doing on accomplishing this vision for the kingdom in which we live here and now? This is not just a vision to read about in the book of Revelation, or to plan for in some future heaven up there somewhere. It is a vision of what we, the children of God, are to be about here and now, in this kingdom, on this earth, with these people. There are more than a few warnings, as in the sheep and the goats, along the way that points to the consequences of not working on this vision to help keep us on the right path. So with all that in mind, how are we doing? Personally? Culturally? Nationally?
