At my wife’s prompting, and the family reunion coming up, I cleaned out my garage. When you start throwing away all that stuff, all one can really say is Holy shit, because that is what it is. Holy in that we spend so much of our time on it. Holy in that although we don’t outright worship it in the classical sense, there is more than enough evidence to justify calling our focus on it as at least some form of worship. And the defecatory statement is, in the long run, it’s worth.
