Will you win or be one

Wednesday January 30th, 1 Corinthians 1: 18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. The ones who are perishing are the ones who are focused on the self. Their focus is on how they can win, get ahead, or sometimes even how their theology is right and others is wrong. The cross is a nice thing to wear, but for them, salvation comes from good old fashion hard work. Grace may even be a word they use, but salvation is still through work, effort, right belief etc. They will be saved in the end, in spite of being right, by the cross of Christ.
