Reflect

Tuesday February 5th, 2 Peter 1: 19 Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts. Sometimes the message has been proclaimed by prophets, sometimes by saints, sometimes by aunts and uncles, parents and children, friends or strangers, but through it, you know is it God speaking to your heart. In the darkness, the illumination is sufficient and you can find your way. What you find your way to is the light of Christ, the Morning Start that brings hope after a long night of darkness. Listen to the words of the children of God in times of darkness. Be the words of God for others in their darkness. Even the dimness of only the reflected light of the Morning Star can bring hope to a heart in need.
