Keep your focus

Monday October 10th, Isaiah 25: 8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; This is not to be misunderstood as “with God everything in your life will be wonderful.” That is not only wrong; it is not all that healthy either. What it does mean, is that in the midst of the many wonderful things life brings your way, and in the midst of some of the garbage life brings your way, keep your focus on God and what your relationship with God brings. In the midst of today’s troubles and today’s joys, remember that in the end, death has been swallowed up. Live your life immersed in that thought, and live a life of praise. It helps put everything else in perspective.
