fear not

Saturday December 13^th Mark 1: ⁸I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."  John baptized with water to cleanse our hearts.  Jesus calls us to a baptism with the Holy Spirit that not only cleanses, but changes and fills our hearts with love and grace.  This is not a one-time dunking, but an ongoing day after day renewal upon renewal journey. Go forth from here and spread the word of God’s love and grace in what you say and in what you do.  Prepare the way this Advent/Christmas season with acts of love and the promotion of peace and justice in the world.  Prepare the way until the world finally hears the message to fear not.
