top of the list
Monday November 17th,
Zephaniah 1: 13 Their wealth will be plundered, their houses demolished. They will build houses but not live in them;
they will plant vineyards but not drink the wine. When
Christ returns, how much of our “stuff” will be really be important? If you
were to write your own obituary, what would be in it? When
others remember your legacy what will it be?
Would you write about your car or house or boat or bank account, or
would you write about those you love and how you showed that love, received
that love, lived that love? Most of us all the time, and all of us most of the
time, spend our time on pursuits that in the end, matter little. If you
consider what you would want on your obituary, what comes to the surface as
priorities in your life? Have you
thought about living into those things? Is
a relationship with God on the top of the list?
