learning curve

Saturday November 8^th, Matthew 5: 9"You're blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That's when you discover who you really are, and your place in God's family. Who was your peacemaker teacher, the one who taught you that you don’t get someone to stop hitting by hitting them? Who was your peacemaker preacher?  Your peacemaker parent?  Your peacemaker mentor?  I don’t see anything in Jesus writings about blessed are the war makers, they are the ones of our economy and our politics.  It is the peace makers who get the Lord’s attention however. I think that is because we are created in God’s image and Jesus taught us that we are brothers and sisters in Christ. Our call is for peace, not war. There seems to be a large learning curve on that one.
