just read it

Tuesday August 28^th, Ephesians 6: Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And we will pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.  There is no lack of people trying to tell you what the Bible says on this subject or that.  “Never do people do evil so cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction. The true miracle is that there is not more downright wickedness in all the religious institutions of the world.” (William Sloane Coffin)  The best way to find out what the scripture says is to read it yourself.  This year, before the election, sit down and read one of the Gospels from start to finish in one setting.  Then pray, and then vote.  It is a good way to make decisions in all of life.
