Encompassing rainbow

Tuesday March 3rd, Genesis 9: 16 When I see the rainbow in the sky, I will always remember the promise that I have made to every living creature. 17 The rainbow will be the sign of that solemn promise. When we see a rainbow, it is not a solo experience. We are not the only ones to see it. It is caused by the rain and sunshine which falls on good and bad, friend and foe alike. The curved encompassing shape is a reminder that we live in community on this planet and are called live like we understand that. The old ways of tribalism, racism, sexism and nationalism are not part of God’s intent. We are called instead as stewards of this world and brothers and sisters with one another in it. What does that mean in your life today? What are you doing to help save the planet, to save relationships, to save an economy that will lift all the boats, to bring justice as God views justice to the world?
