It is indeed right and salutary that we should at all times and in all places offer thanks and praise to you Dear Lord, creator of all the earth. You have given us the gifts of the kingdom and call us to live lives of joy as we celebrate these many gifts. You have given us the task to bring the news that you have overcome death and the grave for all humanity, and have given us forgiveness and the gift of life eternal with all the angels of heaven. We therefore come before you with the whole Church on earth and all the hosts of heaven praiseing your Name and presence in our lives and joining together with the unending hymn:
