" Back to the garden. The first sin on the temptation of eating of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, was the temptation to possess all knowledge and therefore, be like God. Our calling is simply to do the will of God, to love justice, show mercy and walk humbly before our God. It is tempting to be like the student who wanted to do all the extra credit work in school hoping it would completely negate and overshadow the lack of doing the basics in class. Do your homework first, love justice, show mercy and walk humbly before God, then the extra credit of throwing mulberry trees in the water.
